Fractal Nature
Unsophisticated
new
unsophisticated
cells
turned
mathematically
in upon
themselves
masturbating
the old cells
into nonexistence

War! What Is It Good For?
at military funerals
forgotten soldiers
played "taps" backwards
on lips of
spittle
as armless men
saluted
and invisible flags
were handed to breastless women
whose unfathered children
sucked thick puffs
of black air

Go Forth and Un-Multiply
where have all
the forests gone
miles upon miles
of disrespect
now claim earth's landscapes
the wonderful white sand beaches of florida
gone
the notorious niagras of germany and canada
gone
the mighty mount everest and mount fugi
imploded upon themselves
gone
men-like creatures
if one could call them that
lived underground
in mole holes
coming out at sunset
their pupil-less orbs
laying dry of tears
upon their cheeks
they ferreted the earth
looking for dry crustaceans
of radioactive insects
to eat
