The Guardian
the earth coughed and wheezed
wiped her nose and sneezed
but still made beauty
from the curse of those
who meant her harm for their
clink and chink of
a dinero, a buck a yen
but died before they even
had opportunity to spend.
earth clung tightly
rightly
refusing to sing
the end, the end, the end
wiped her nose and sneezed
but still made beauty
from the curse of those
who meant her harm for their
clink and chink of
a dinero, a buck a yen
but died before they even
had opportunity to spend.
earth clung tightly
rightly
refusing to sing
the end, the end, the end
