The Balancing Act

The Balancing Act
she's so critical
measuring the measure
of every word
riding defenseless
on the fences.
for to straddle
means to decide
not to decide.
too much energy.
how much more
to balance.
Bird Talk
the tedium
has become
so tedious
my inner dialogue
is so full of
fowl
language
who is this person?
She Arts
i must
create
something
beautiful
without,
to mask
the ugliness
within.
Bent Needles
there's a
bent
needle
in my pincushion.
it fits
my warped
fingers just fine
Timelyness
time
once it was
upon me
at its worst
and at it's best
saving stitches
nine at a seasonal time
memorial after memorial
forever time
beauteous
fashionable
timely
time...
once it was
upon me.
Shaken, Not Stirred
shake it, baby
shake it
usual
average
protocol
ordinary
let it all be
shaken.
shake it, baby, shake it.
Next Door Cityscapes
neighbors
are
skyscrapers
with shared
street addresses
Do Something, Anything!
quest
for something
anything that
elevates humanity
enfolds the
environmental
earthscape
champions the cause
of children and
value of women
quest
for something
anything that
dominates demons
fences away fears
grinds out unsavory gears
quest
for something,
anything
that leaves best
at the betterness
for the beast
in us all
let us no longer
suggest
let us
shed the armor of politics
let us
quest.
