Poetic Kiss

One Day
one day
i'm gonna
love me
somebody
and nobody
is gonna be able
to stop me
not even
that
somebody
The Fool
who am i
pretending to
fool?
surely not
the fool within.
but then again,
that's where
all
foolishness
begins.
Thoughtful
thinking the thoughts
of thoughts unthought
finishing the sentences
of whole paragraphs
interrupted
loving the touch
of feelings unfelt
now that you're gone...
living the life forgiven,
now lived.
Actions Speak Louder Than Words
or The Tent Makers
don't let there be
sentences organized
but let there be
fragments
sewn together
by the tent makers
(prayer poem for the people of Haiti
who two years and nine months
after the earthquake
are still living in tents)
Autumn Announcement
fall slid under the
sheets and
whispered on the breeze,
"winter is here"
Exotic Vacations
the creation
of rest
must embrace
the artistic zest
of new fallen snow
and eagles on the go
and invisible rainbows
and children inked in indigo
The Unwrittens
hurray for strays
and homeless cats
who eat inspite of
no dinner mat.
all's well that
is not bolted to paper trails
and garbage pails.
the day will come
when we speak of
unwritten things.
Sealed With A Poetic Kiss
she is starving for
some touch
his mouth waters
at the thought of much
but
there is
an ocean between them
so she uses her poems to hug
he uses his paint to kiss
each resulting in
an ocean of
making love
hug-hug
kiss-kiss
ocean-ocean
love-love
