Lonely but not alone

there's an independence
in not being loved
if i can get over the loneliness
it can fit like a glove
narcissism and ego
become friends
there's no one to trip over
no reason to bend
or compromise or debate
i live on my own time
i am are never late
the bathroom is forever free
there is no us,
his or hers or we
there's only me
